Beta Terms

1. What These Terms Are
These Beta Terms govern your participation in the Archive beta and early-access program. They supplement Archive's Terms of Service, and where they conflict with it, these Beta Terms control for as long as your account is in the beta program. Terms defined in the Terms of Service have the same meaning here. Archive is offered during the beta by personal invitation only.
2. Evaluation Only; Access May Be Revoked
Beta access is granted for evaluation and feedback. It is personal to the invited user and to the organization identified in the invitation, and it is revocable. Archive may modify, suspend, or end the beta, or any individual beta account, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice.
3. Pre-Release Software — Heightened AS-IS
THE BETA SERVICE IS PRE-RELEASE AND IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Beta features may be incomplete, may behave unexpectedly, may change substantially, and may be removed entirely. Performance, availability, and output quality during the beta are not indicative of the generally available Service. All disclaimers and limitations in the Terms of Service apply with full force, and this Section adds to them.
4. No Service Level, No Support Commitment
There is no service-level agreement during the beta and no uptime, availability, or response-time commitment. Archive may provide support as a courtesy, but is not obligated to. Maintenance may occur without notice.
5. Beta Is Not a System of Record
Do not treat the beta as a system of record. Data, configurations, and reports created during the beta may be modified, corrupted, reset, or deleted, including when we migrate the platform or reset the environment, and we may do so without notice and without an obligation to restore. Keep your own copies of anything you need. This is a data-loss disclaimer, and it is a real one: plan accordingly.
6. Reports Generated During the Beta
Reports generated during the beta carry all of the disclaimers in Section 11 of the Terms of Service — they are informational research products, they are not title opinions, title commitments, title insurance, or certified abstracts, and they are not legal advice. In addition, and specifically because the platform is pre-release: beta reports must not be relied upon in a live transaction. Do not use a beta report as the basis for an acquisition, a lease, a drilling decision, a division order, a payment, or any filing or representation to a third party. If you need a report you can act on, tell us and we will discuss what is appropriate.
7. Fees During the Beta
No fees are payable for beta access itself. If you place an explicit paid order for a report through the application, that order is charged at the posted price and is governed by the Terms of Service; nothing in these Beta Terms makes a paid order free, and nothing in them obligates you to place one.
8. Feedback
We want your feedback, and we want to be able to act on it. If you give Archive suggestions, comments, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback about the Service, you grant Archive a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into its products and services, without any obligation to compensate, credit, or account to you. You are not required to give feedback, and you should not send us anything you are not free to share.
9. Confidentiality of the Beta
Non-public features, screens, roadmaps, and performance characteristics of the beta Service are Archive's Confidential Information under Section 14 of the Terms of Service. Do not publish screenshots, benchmarks, or descriptions of non-public functionality without our written permission. This does not restrict you from discussing your own experience with your own advisors under confidentiality, or from any disclosure required by law.
10. Ending Your Participation; Contact
You may leave the beta at any time by closing your account or telling us. When the beta ends — for you or generally — access to the beta environment ends with it, and any conversion to a paid, generally available plan will be offered separately and will require your affirmative agreement.
